Reiki Classes & Courses
If you are here, then you may be looking for someone to give you either an introduction to Reiki, or take you on a path to nationally verified Professional Practitioner. You might be wondering how to choose your Reiki teacher? Look for someone you connect with, ask them direct questions about how and what they will teach you, how much experience they have, how long the courses area and their content.
The good news is that Reiki is something that everyone can learn and do at any age. It's empowering and, if you apply yourself, you will see big benefits in your life as you come closer to your real essence.
I have studied with a number of teachers so I have a good overview and understanding of different styles and approaches and aim to teach you practical skills that can serve you in your everyday life. I am not a purist, I take what is effective from everything I have learnt in the diverse approaches to Reiki and love to share everything I've learnt with my students..
I do expect students to be diligent - it's the fourth reiki principle - do your best. Give your best to Reiki and it will give its best back to you!
Reiki 1/Shoden/First Degree
This is a 2 day practical course with a follow up. There is just too much to show you and practise to do it in any less time.
You will receive 4 Reiki attunements.
You will learn: Reiki principles,reiki foundation meditations, working from the tan den, standard hand positions, intuitive hand positions, and scanning, keeping your energy strong, self-treatment, giving Reiki to others, Reiki mind management, reflection and more. Complete your portfolio to get confident.
Reiki 2/
Okuden/Second degree
Like Reiki 1, this course is studied over 2 days or their equivalent. You will receive a further Reiki attunement.
Building on your Reiki 1 practice, you will learn how to strengthen your Reiki, be able to create mental and emotional calm more easily and send Reiki remotely in a number of ways. In addition, we will explore a good number of what are termed Japanese techniques and apply them in every day situations, including building your Reiki energy, as well as looking at the key bits of anatomy you need to know..
Complete case studies and your portfolio to build on your confidence and greater understanding
Reiki Professional Practitioner/ Reiki Master Practitioner
Complete this course together with Reiki 1 and Reiki 2 and you will meet the requirements for CNHC verification and Reiki Professional Practitioner.
You will receive 1 Reiki attunement as part of this course.
This course is the equivalent of 4 days. Some elements may be taught onine.
We will build on your Reiki knowledge and practice, adding further skills and approaches.
You will also be building skills in all the prfessional practitioner requirements including communication skills, boundaries, red flags, legal requirements, marketing basic awareness, professional practice guidelines and more.
Complete your portfolio and case studies and then take an independent assessment and you can register with CNHC if you choose. You will also receive a Reiki Council Professional Practitione Certificate.
Altogether between Reiki 2 and Professional Certificate you complete 10 case studies of 4 treatments per client as mandated in national guidelines.
Costs
Reiki 1 - £250 includes observed treatment and portfolio marking
Reiki 2 - £250 includes observed treatment and portfolio & case study marking
Reiki 3 - £400 includes observed treatments and portfolio and case study marking.
Independent assessment, currently around £90 in total.
